Server
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Handle cash and process payments using the Aloha POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Maintain knowledge of food handling and safety guidelines
Skills:
- Strong math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling
- Experience using the Aloha POS system or similar restaurant software
- Knowledge of food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work well in a team environment, assisting coworkers when needed
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide exceptional guest service
- Familiarity with the food industry and menu items to make recommendations
- Sales skills to upsell additional food and beverage items
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking effectively
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and kitchen staff
