Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance / Repair:
- Fabricates, assembles, alters, and repairs production machinery, plant machinery, and building utilities and performs preventive maintenance tasks.
- Follow all safety precautions, rules and policies while performing general maintenance and repairs.
- Communicate repair needs/facility problems:
- Inform manager of current and potential needed repairs, hazards, or facility problems.
- Complete required documentation.
- Operate power tools/devices:
- Safely operate small equipment such as:
- Small electric power tools (paint sprayer, drills, saws, etc.)
- Follow all safety precautions, rules, and policies while operating small equipment.
- High school diploma / GED
- Minimum of 6 years directly related experience demonstrating knowledge in mechanical plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic electrical.
- HVAC and CNC Machine experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and instruction manuals.
- Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, including fractions, and precision measurements (i.e., micrometers).

- Work Environment Includes:
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals
