Summer internship to help with ion implantation engineering endeavors, simulation, process, and equipment.
Helps with engineering endeavor, processing, and equipment. Performs from tool qualification to wafer fabrication functions in the production of semiconductor devices. Operates equipment in performing ion implantation. Performs job function in compliance with Corporate Safety Standards and in support of the Corporate Quality Policy and key Quality objectives.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Tool - Becomes familiar with ion implanters and processing equipment, with becoming certified on at least two toolsets and the associated metrology equipment. Performs and verifies equipment set-ups and qualifications on more than two toolsets without supervision.
- Systems - Identifies specification discrepancies and Automation problems.
- Production Processing - Identifies and uses necessary equipment, tools, and materials to run production processes.
- Resolves supply issues of support materials (test wafers, .
- Goals and Metrics- Understands optimization of workflow and time management. Reads interpret and act on job-related charts, graphs, metrics, and specifications. Formulates a plan to meet production goals.
- Communication - Demonstrates effective use of written and verbal skills to communicate routine technical and non-technical information.
- Problem-solving and Decision Making - Participates in routine problem solving including taking steps to prevent reoccurrence.
- Teamwork and Leadership - Participates in Quality teams and uses 8D methods. Initiates projects and activities in a team environment.
