Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Operate cash registers and handle payments accurately, utilizing basic math skills for transactions.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service best practices.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures during beverage preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and Aloha POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance in beverage preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
