Duties
- Curate and manage an extensive wine list that complements the menu offerings.
- Provide personalized wine recommendations to guests based on their preferences and food selections.
- Conduct wine tastings and educate staff on wine characteristics, regions, and proper serving techniques.
- Assist in training restaurant staff on wine service, upselling techniques, and customer engagement.
- Maintain inventory of wines, including ordering, receiving, and organizing stock.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create harmonious pairings between food and beverages.
Skills
