Job Description
The Water Operator I is responsible for the maintenance of the drinking water systems, monitoring equipment, gathering, and analyzing water samples, and performing necessary adjustments for maintaining water quality. The Water Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of water systems. The position requires knowledge of water treatment, distribution, and treatment. The Water Operator I will assist the Water Operator II in any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
·High School Diploma or equivalent required;
·Valid driver’s license required.
·Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and push or pull 50 pounds on occasion.
·Ability to work independently with limited supervision required.
·Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
