Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize plant operations and achieve production targets.
- Oversee all aspects of the assembly process, including production scheduling, efficiency tracking, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of production staff, supervisors, and support personnel.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure that we meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Implement quality assurance measures at each stage of the assembly process, from raw materials inspection to proper assembly of finished goods.
- Investigate and address any quality issues or customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with customer to improve the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Develop and manage the assembly budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, labor productivity, and operating expenses.
- Drive initiatives to improve profitability and achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and market trends in the industry.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to customers, meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices related to manufacturing and assembly.
- Ensure that the plant operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and auditors as needed.
- Oversee Training, and development to build a skilled workforce capable of meeting the plant's operational needs.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to employees.
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning.
- Identify and nurture future leaders within the organization through succession planning and talent development programs.
- Experience in managing unloading, picking, packing, manufacturing, gift wrapping and kitting.
- The ability to work with client and fulfill a demanding role while maintaining a meaningful customer relationship.
- PnL experience required.
- Navigate working on site with multiple agencies in various agencies.
- Proficient in MS Office - Excel and PPT.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in logistics management
- Proven track record of successfully leading production teams and driving operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance metrics tracking.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to delivering superior customer value.
- Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
