We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control. This role is essential for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team to meet operational goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Pay: $23 per hour
- Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively.
- Train, mentor, and lead warehouse staff to enhance productivity and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Oversee the e-commerce fulfillment process to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize shipping routes and improve overall distribution efficiency.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge of warehouse equipment to assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on shipping and receiving processes.
- Strong understanding of distribution center functions within an e-commerce environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of logistics principles and best practices in inventory control.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting safety and efficiency.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
