SCHEDULE:

• Day Shift hours are 7:00am – 5:40pm 
• Night Shift hours are 7:30pm – 6:10am
• During training you work 5 shifts that are 8 hours a day for up to 2 weeks
• Once training is complete you work 4 shifts that are 10 hours a day each week

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Produce components by assembling parts & subassemblies
• Read & decipher schematics, blueprints, & assembly instructions
• Position parts & subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts & subassemblies
• Verify adequate materials & supplies are available to complete operations
• Adjust machine for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
• Spend up to 10 hours a day in a stationary position on the ergonomically enhanced BMW assembly line
• Clean & maintain work area & equipment including tools
• Conduct quality control checks periodically & maintain quality standards

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, show problem-solving & multitasking skills
• Must be able to maintain a stationary position during a shift
• Must be able to position self to shift between upright & low stances
• Must be able to reach overhead as necessary to perform job functions
• Must be able to position self to maintain & operate machinery to perform job functions
• Must be able to move & transport to up to 50lbs unassisted 
• Must be able to discern written & oral instructions & communication fluently in English
• Must be able to exchange accurate information written & orally fluently in English

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year production/manufacturing/assembly or other applicable experience
• High school diploma or GED
