Our client is seeking a skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team as a heavy-duty truck driver - waste management specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials from customer locations to our facilities, utilizing both tractor trailers and straight trucks.
*No long hauls/nights, home every day*
*Plenty of overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials from customer locations to our facilities, utilizing both tractor trailers and straight trucks
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Transport and deliver materials from customers' locations to our facilities as directed by dispatch
- Use chains, straps, binders, and/or tarps to secure all cargo for transport
- Communicate any safety or equipment issues with management
Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience
- Must pass Physical/Drug Screen and Background check
- Valid Class A Driver's License
- Minimum 21 years old
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and meet all qualifications of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations (FMCSR)
