CNC Turning Machinist manufactures high precision and high-quality engineering parts and assemblies for manufacturing, automotive, packaging, and other applications, and industries. We are seeking a full-time CNC Turning candidate who possesses both excellent work habits and outstanding skills. Candidate should have a CNC machining background.
What you will do as a CNC Turning candidate:
Production of high-quality components, prototypes, and small series at Gildmeister CTX
series turning machine with driven tools
Set up and adjustment of machines for individual parts, prototypes, and small series
Write own programs directly on the machine with iTNC Pilot Control
Inspect work using standard and automated inspection equipment
Interpret basic dimensions on print
Maintain a clean work area and observe all safety procedures
Execute machine offsets and tool changes
Troubleshoot and clear machine alarm conditions as required
What You Bring:
Professional experience in the production of components, prototypes, and small series
Knowledge of programming DECKEL-MAHO 3, 4, 5 axis milling machines of the P-series
Knowledge of Heidenhain and or MillPlus control
Capability to read customer drawings
Capability to work with metric system
Attention to detail
Positive and pleasant demeanor
Team oriented working style
High School degree or similar work experience
Essential Job Functions:
Frequently positioning oneself to perform work tasks
This position operates tools, objects, and controls as necessary
Must be able to move up to 50lbs
