Our client is looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their team.
Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities :
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical, structural, and fluid systems in various projects. Key responsibilities include :
- Engineering & Design :
- Design and develop mechanical, structural, and fluid systems for fabrication projects.
- Create detailed prints and drawings using AutoCAD or Inventor.
- Ensure all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Project Execution & Customer Interface :
- Coordinate project requirements and schedules with management.
- Work directly with customers and suppliers to define design specifications.
- Oversee system startup and commissioning to ensure proper functionality.
- Process Improvement & Business Development :
- Assist in generating proposals and quotations for new and existing customers.
- Support preliminary engineering and design efforts to develop new projects.
- Collaboration & Documentation :
- Work closely with the CAD Department and panel shop to ensure accurate designs.
- Maintain detailed weekly documentation of project tasks and hours.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
