About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Steel Construction Fitter to join our growing team! In this role, you will be a vital part of constructing and assembling steel structures in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings and industrial facilities. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, cutting and shaping steel components, and fitting them together with precision.
Responsibilities
- Measure, mark, and cut steel sections using hand tools, power tools, and cutting torches.
- Assemble and fit steel components together using welding, bolting, riveting, or other appropriate methods.
- Verify alignment and accuracy of assembled structures using levels, plumb bobs, and measuring tools.
- Install structural steel members, such as beams, columns, and braces, according to project plans.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
