SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Representative and Support Specialist will play a key role in achieving sales targets by acquiring customers, providing support to Account Managers, and coordinating sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling inbound and outbound calls, generating and following up on leads, and assisting with technical inquiries. They will provide quotations, technical assistance, and maintain accurate customer records using CRM tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls and emails
- Handle incoming customer calls, requests for pricing, and product availability
- Provide accurate processing of quotes within 24 hours and technical support on accessories and spare parts
- Route qualified opportunities to appropriate account managers to develop incremental revenue
- Maintain excellent interoffice communication and update the sales department on customer and competitor information
- Assist with backorder situations, product recalls, and order allocations
- Support marketing by distributing leads, handling mailing campaigns, and data entry for leads
- Help customers with technical questions and reroute to appropriate sales or service personnel
- Explore competitors’ strategies and disseminate information throughout the sales department
- Assist external account managers with data collection on prospective clients
Additional Responsibilities:
- Take over sales activities for vacant territories as needed
- Routinely study and gain technical knowledge on Laboratory and Analytical products, including competitor offerings
- Provide support to Account Managers during product quality notifications or recalls
- Assist marketing in leveraging AI tools for lead generation and campaign optimization
KPI (Key Performance Indicators):
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain a 95% customer satisfaction rating
- Generate a minimum of 10 qualified leads per week
- Ensure 24-hour turnaround for customer quotes
- Assist in the execution of at least two AI-driven marketing initiatives per quarter, leading to a 10% increase in lead conversion rates
Leveraging AI for Marketing and Lead Generation:
- The role will involve utilizing AI-driven tools to enhance marketing efforts and optimize lead generation. This includes using AI for customer segmentation, predictive analytics, and automated outreach, resulting in more efficient targeting of potential clients and improved conversion rates.
