SUMMARY
Provides day-to-day assistance and service to customers and sales representatives within the Process Division. The Service Technician is to deliver excellent customer service with the goal to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction and increases profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Disassemble, clean up parts, evaluate customers machines for repair, rebuild, test, and prepare shipping
- Provide service and customer support via in-coming calls, net meetings, or emails.
- Coordinate workflow to schedule
- Produce timely and detailed service reports for each repair.
- Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions in-house and in the field
- Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance when needed.
- Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols when operating machines, in a safe manor, in-house or in the field.
- Build positive relationships with customers while successfully troubleshooting problems.
- Provide spare parts quotations to customers.
- Travel when needed for repair or service work.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Two-year Associate Degree. Results oriented, quality conscious and customer oriented with minimum of four years of experience in the mechanical field, assembling or mechanical repair.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Familiar with Windows based software, i.e. MS Word, Excel, Access and CRM and MRP software. Knowledge of SAP a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to use basic math skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
