IKA Works, Inc. is looking for a motivated and eager individual to join our Lab Assembly team. Main responsibility includes performing all required assembly and inspection of laboratory equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assembly, inspection, testing, troubleshooting and rework of laboratory equipment.
- Required to stand while working during shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize safe, proper setup and operation procedures for all tools and equipment.
- Keep all hand tools, assembly equipment, and accessories clean, orderly, and safe.
- Record accurate information on manufacturing orders, weekly time tickets, rejected material reports, and all forms required for assembly, inspection and quality control.
- Required to lift (maximum of 50 pounds) and/or carry boxes containing component parts and climb a ladder to retrieve inventory stored on racks.
Experience preferred but not required, we will train the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 per hour
