IKA Works Wilmington is looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to the team!
Job Summary:
Maintains all functions and duties of the Warehouse by performing the following duties:
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform accurate unloading/unpacking, comparison, receipt, and location assignment of all inventories from purchase and manufacturing orders.
- Pick, and deliver to manufacturing department, all inventories to meet requirements of manufacturing orders.
- Pick, prepare for pick-up or shipment and load all inventories required for supply-type purchase orders.
- Pick, properly package, ship, and load all inventories required for filling customer orders. This may include completing routing and shipping information/documents for delivery based on terms of customer order.
- Perform cycle counts and/or inventory audits as required by supervisor.
- Handle the disposition of all materials rejected from the QC, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Sales departments.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory quantities and locations through completed transactions in SAP.
- Notify supervisor and/or Inventory Control Manager of discrepancies in inventory quantities, etc.
- Safely use and maintain all warehouse equipment as required for performing duties.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- A High School diploma and/or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a
shipping/receiving environment.
- A good working knowledge of manufacturing system software to adequately perform job duties. Knowledge of SAP a plus.
- Ability to communicate with management and co-workers.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be able to life objects up to 75 pounds, stand, walk and sit.
Job Type: Full-time
