• 2 to 5 years of experience working in Information Technology Operations
• Passion for leading and developing people
• Self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
• A clear understanding of, and a passion for the IKEA values and principles
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations
• Excellent working knowledge of WMS and Order Management Systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., sit, stand, and walk for length of shift
• Strong communication skills with an ability to prioritize competing tasks
Your responsibilities
• Implement, execute, and evaluate the functionality of system and hardware performance for the unit
• Identify opportunities to renew and improve operationally based on the WMS and operational performance and KPI results, including support with creating system queries and tools
• Recognize co-workers who make a positive contribution and offer feedback when needed, thereby contributing to the development of co-workers and future IKEA leaders
• Secure computer networking, server performance, and telecommunications systems for the unit
• Create and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Ensure unit asset management in accordance with IKEA procedures and ensure system security and integrity
• Provide support to co-workers with a customer service approach by training and communicating updates related to the WMS
