Front Desk Medical Receptionist – Full-Time / Part-Time
We are a premier concierge internal medicine practice with a boutique setting, offering personalized, high-quality healthcare. Our low patient volume allows us to focus on delivering exceptional service and a seamless experience for our patients.
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be professional, personable, and reliable, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Position Details:
- Hours: 25–40 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $17–$18/hour based on experience and qualifications
- Location: Port St. Lucie, FL
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Answer and manage incoming calls, messages, and appointment inquiries
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently
- Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate documentation
- Maintain and update patient records with confidentiality and attention to detail
- Coordinate communication between patients, the physician, and team members
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and organizing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting waiting area, including restocking magazines, cleaning surfaces, and tidying as needed
- Ensure water, coffee, and other refreshments are available and replenished for patient comfort
- Monitor and report any facility-related issues to the appropriate team member
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a medical office or front desk role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using scheduling software or electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding service
