iKids U hires staff who love to work with children! iKids Instructors teach curriculum in creative, recreational, and academic based classes like Art, Crafts, Intro Sports, Science, Brain Games, Cooking, Drama and more!
All lessons and supplies are provided by the campus supervisor. iKids Instructors lead their small group activities keeping fun a top priority! For the 2025 -2026 school year, the iKids program is hosted at Austin ISD elementary schools and more! iKids provides a turn-key, experiential learning environment for those interested in developing leadership and communication skills with elementary-age children.
Details:
- Instructor pay starts at $15.00 per hour
- Work Hours are 2:30 PM until 5 / 6:00 PM
- iKids MAYmester instructors work from 12 to 15 hours per week (no weekends)
- Weekly schedule follows the 2024-2025 Austin elementary school calendar
- Teach through May 29, 2025 with opportunity to return Fall 2025
Required:
- Independent transportation
- Clear background and fingerprinting checks
- Experience with children preferable in groups like camps, workshops, teaching assistant, tutoring, babysitting, child care, after school
Instructor Training and certifications in CPR/1st Aid is provided, along with your iKids T-shirt.
