What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Manager position at Ikon Search?
Our client, an UHNWI with homes in Miami and Washington, DC is looking for an experienced Estate Manager to support in the smooth running of his homes. This is a full-time role, for a candidate based in the Miami area. There could be some need for travel to DC from time to time.
As the Estate Manager, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation and management of the principal’s main residence. This is a hands-on, managerial role that requires the utmost attention to detail while spearheading the operations and upkeep of the estate.
Duties include:
- Meeting with the principal daily/weekly to discuss plans, events, and general property requirements
- Preparing, presenting, and managing budgets of the Property
- Supervising all ground and house vendors/ staff
- Managing all maintenance, repairs, and renovations to building/ property grounds
- Liaising with event planners, catering services, and clients to ensure that all functions run smoothly
- Managing all administrative tasks such as submitting insurance claims, filing legal documents, and preparing invoices
- Ensuring the properties are kept to the highest standard
Candidate requirements:
- Able to handle a multitude of responsibilities with confidence and clear communication.
- Displays strong people skills, has overriding flexibility, and is willing to take on a wide range of tasks.
- Organized and efficient with high personal standards, enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and a six-star hospitality approach to service.
- Willing to take initiative and to forward plan, being someone who can see the bigger picture, and who can delegate effectively, all while motivating the staff, ensuring a seamless and excellent level of operations, procedures, and service are always carried out.
