Overview:
The Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the Compliance Team Leader/Compliance Coordinator in managing the day-to-day operations of multiple Clients regarding the Certificate of Insurance (“COI”) compliance process according to the Company’s Best Practices. You will be responsible for providing guidance and support to Clients of the Firm and managing the vendor compliance process (i.e., COIs, endorsements, etc.).
Responsibilities:
- Understand how to read Certificates of Insurance (i.e., Acord 25, Acord 855, Acord 28).
- Read and understand General Liability, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, Auto, and Property policy forms and endorsements, including but not limited to Waiver of Subrogation, Primary & Non-Contributory, and Additional Insured endorsements.
- Understand Client Certificate(s) of Insurance (“COI”) Compliance Process.
- Review Policy Expiration Reports to identify renewals/expirations communicate with Developers, Contractors, Property Managers, and Vendors to request renewing/expiring COIs and supporting insurance documents for multiple.
- Receive and process multiple Client-dedicated “COI” mailboxes.
- Implement vendor insurance compliance strategies.
- Provide regular updates to Sr. Leadership of the Firm on compliance statistics and achievement of goals using agreed-upon metrics and format.
- Participate in planning and organizing insurance and compliance audit procedures to meet Client insurance audit objectives.
- Prepare for and attend all Firm and Client meetings as needed, both in person and on virtual platforms.
- Participate in all vertical growth-related activities (blog writing, presentations, etc.).
- Take a hands-on approach to tracking insurance certificates and related documents (policy/endorsements) and use Firm software to record specifics.
- Actively work with the Compliance Team to ensure vendor compliance.
- Participate in and contribute to all compliance-related projects.
- Provide Senior Leadership with weekly reports on all the compliance activity with insight where there may be opportunities in internal or external performance.
