What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior FI Underwriter position at Ikon Search?
Ikon is representing an insuretech carrier that just opened a brand new NYC office. This role is on a new team reporting to the US Managing Director and focuses on cyber, D&O, and E&O coverage for financial institutions.
You'll help build out their US presence by bringing over strong broker relationships and your technical underwriting expertise. Our client focuses complex, cutting-edge risks primarily with fintechs, Web3, AI, digital currency, and more, with an existing $200M book.
This role is in person Monday-Thursday in Midtown Manhattan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a complex portfolio of E&O/D&O/Cyber business within a Letter of Authority.
- Assist in developing new coverage options and revising guidelines.
- Develop and sustain broker relationships
Qualifications:
- 3 years of E&O/D&O/Cyber underwriting experience, preferably focused on FIs.
- Relationships with brokers.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven record of premium growth and profitability.
Salary : $125,000 - $200,000
