Ikon Windows & Doors, a high-end manufacturer specializing in European tilt-and-turn systems, is seeking a skilled Drafter / CAD Specialist to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This is an on-site position and will play a crucial role in preparing shop drawings, flashing and waterproofing details, and assisting in fenestration design.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create detailed shop drawings for windows and doors, including elevations, sections, and installation details.
- Develop flashing and waterproofing details to ensure proper integration with various building envelope systems.
- Assist with fenestration design for custom residential and commercial projects.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and project managers to coordinate design details and technical requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing sets and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and installation methods .
