We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor or license eligible counselor to join our team of behavioral health professionals to providing a full continuum of care to participants, to include assessments, individual counseling, group counseling, case management, and referrals as-needed. Job Responsibilities:
Provide assessments, individual psychotherapy, and case management services to a caseload of clients. Conduct crisis intervention, risk assessment, and group counseling as-needed. Provide individual counseling and/ or group counseling as-needed. Create and review treatment plans for participants and provide referral if necessary for supplemental outpatient services. Provide follow-up services for clients engaged in services to ensure successful engagement and follow through with services. Write summary reports, clinical notes, diagnostic assessments and evaluations as needed. Ensure reporting requirements are met.
Consult with IKRON staff regarding treatment and prognosis of individuals served. Attend clinical review meetings monthly, weekly individual supervision meetings and monthly staff meetings with IKRON staff. Other duties upon request.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: by Clinical Services Supervisor (Approved WA State Supervisor)
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related discipline.
- Licensed as an AAC, LMHC or LMHCA clinician in the state of Washington.
- A minimum of two years experience working with adults or youth having mild to severe mental illness.
