Il Cervo, located next to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee’s historic Deer District, is set to open in the Spring of 2023 on the top of The Trade, Milwaukee’s premier luxury hotel. Il Cervo is currently looking for you, an experienced hospitality professional hoping to showcase their skills in a brand new 10,000-square foot, high-end Italian restaurant. Il Cervo’s menu features hand-rolled pasta, homemade mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, and dry-aged steaks served Florentine-style, and will boast an Italian focused wine list with over 300 labels. Position: Host

Work Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Compensation: $10/hour plus tips (average $23/hour)

About Position:

The hostess or host is responsible for greeting customers as they enter a restaurant, taking their reservation or putting them on a waiting list, giving the guest(s) menus and showing them to their seat. The host may also handle phone calls and customer queries about the restaurant and menu and assist various restaurant staff when necessary.
