We are looking for a Director of HR who will act as a key member of the executive leadership team and will be a thought partner to the CEO and department heads, leading a high-impact HR function that spans talent strategy, organizational development, total rewards, HR operations, and employee experience. This is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for driving organizational effectiveness, shaping culture, and building the systems and capabilities that enable our people and business to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, influencing decisions with a people-first and business-oriented mindset.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and change management initiatives.
- Develop and lead a robust talent strategy encompassing acquisition, onboarding, capability building, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Create and drive initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and internal mobility.
- Build scalable systems for performance management, career pathing, and learning & development.
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and executive coaching.
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, policies, and ethical standards across jurisdictions.
- Serve as an internal expert on evolving legislation and workplace regulations.
- Oversee the design and execution of competitive, equitable compensation and benefits programs.
- Evaluate reward structures to ensure alignment with performance, retention, and market competitiveness.
- Guide compensation planning for executive and high-impact roles.
- Lead HR operations, data integrity, and reporting across all systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll, etc.).
- Oversee vendor selection, technology implementations, and process improvements across the HR stack
- 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles at the Director or VP level.
- Demonstrated success leading HR in complex, fast-paced, or high-growth environments
- Deep expertise in multiple HR disciplines, including organizational design, total rewards, talent strategy, and employee relations.
- Proven track record of building and scaling HR functions, processes, and teams from the ground up.
- Highly strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to operate at both a tactical and strategic level.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MA in HR or Organizational Psychology) or SPHR/SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred
