Position Summary:
Supervises EVS team members to ensure the continual maintenance of the facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service.
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Responsibilities include overseeing the team members’ continual circulation of the facility with pan and broom in hand to sweep tickets/trash from the floor, collecting trash/tickets from countertops and trash from tables.
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming all areas of the facility including special cleaning required by management.
- Removal and recycling of trash.
- Maintaining building and property.
- Clean and sanitize rest rooms.
- Maintain floor cleanliness.
- Communicate inventory supply status to management. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
- Operate dish machine.
- Report on any observed security, environmental, and health and safety related concerns and any equipment malfunctions.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess a High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of environmental services experience.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull 40 lbs.
- Reaching and stooping are part of the job.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
