Role Description

Hourly Rate: Min. $19.25 *Negotiable Depending on Experience* $1.00 Night Diff.

As a member of the ILC Resources Cloverdale, maintenance staff a successful Maintenance Technician will be able to trouble shoot both mechanical & electrical issues with elevators, augers, hammer mills, gas dryers and various other rock crushing and transporting equipment. The Maintenance Technicians’ base hours are 6PM – 6AM Monday - Thursday plus every 3rd week on call as needed to keep the production plant operating. Overtime will be paid for any hours past 40 per week or after 8 hours per day.

Role Responsibilities

80%

Maintenance Technician will assemble, fix and perform preventive maintenance on feed grade calcium production equipment. This would include gas dryers, screeners, airlocks, hammer mills, elevators and a variety of other equipment. The Maintenance Technician will exhibit a high dedication to safety.

20%

Maintenance Technician will have the ability to rebuild our rock hammers using a wire feed welder, grease all bearings, maintain proper equipment and replacement parts inventories and operate frontend loaders.

Qualifications

Ø Work Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant maintenance is preferred, on the job training is available for a candidate who demonstrates a high mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of electricity.

Ø Education: High school diploma or GED.

Other Expectations

Ø Physically able to climb ladders, lift up to 75 pounds, work in hot and cold environments, wear PPE.
