Overview:
The Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for customers. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers visiting and contacting the dealership. The primary responsibilities include greeting customers, answering phone calls, directing inquiries to appropriate personnel and ensuring customer waiting area is stocked with snacks, coffee and beverages. This is an individual contributor role. The incumbent will also serve as the Rental Admin.
Responsibilities:
Office Administration/Clerical
- Answering phones & greeting customers
- Taking detailed messages for unavailable staff memebers
- Filing and organization
- Maintaining a neat showroom & customer waiting area
- Assisting sales & service as needed
- Updating Charleston inventory on our website www.ildertonvans.com
Rentals
- Assist customers renting vehicle
- Signing paperwork
- Conducting walk around
- Collecting drivers license
- Demonstrating use of the vehicle
- Delivering rentals as needed
- Having rentals to be cleaned as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role, in the auto industry preferred
- Professional appearance at all times
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be organized
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
