Position Description:
Work with cross-functional team members, the Market Coordinator will plan, organize, and execute events in order to promote Ilera Holistic Healthcare's brand and products to Licensed Louisiana Dispensaries, Authorized Clinicians who recommend Therapeutic Marijuana, and Patients who use Therapeutic Marijuana across Louisiana. The Market Coordinator will also support sales growth through proactive engagement with key Ilera customers and promoting Ilera product selection with dispensaries, patients, and community partners. This role requires a proactive, creative, and dynamic individual with expertise in event planning and management, sales strategy, and patient/customer interactions, and appropriate capture of content for use in educational materials and social media posts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using direct interactions and social media platforms to engage communities and patients to advance Ilera's missions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Event Planning and Execution:
Plan, execute, and manage events designed to market and generate sales of Ilera Products, including community marketing and outreach programs, product launches, educational initiatives, and co-branded events with licensed Louisiana dispensaries.
Create and carry out initiatives to market Ilera products to Louisiana dispensary employees and patients, ensuring thorough understanding of product benefits and usage.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Social Media teams to develop event-specific promotional strategies and materials.
Independently manage event logistics, including the selection of vendors, vendor coordination, and on-site operations, to ensure seamless execution.
Gather feedback and analyze event performance to inform future improvements.
Sales Support and Strategy:
Develop marketing strategies in coordination with the marketing team to increase product visibility in Louisiana dispensaries and company revenue.
Independently implement developed marketing strategies by directly marketing to Louisiana Dispensaries and their surrounding community, including Authorized Clinicians in the community who recommend Therapeutic Marijuana products to patients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dispensary staff and management, acting as a key point of contact for Ilera's product portfolio to Ilera's customers.
Conduct regular visits to dispensaries to discuss and plan community engagement opportunities, ensure optimal product placement, monitor inventory levels, and address any issues that may arise.
Present product solutions and provide detailed product information to customers, leveraging a consultative sales approach.
Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding market presence and increasing sales through community and professional networks.
Track and report on sales metrics, event-generated leads, and conversions to evaluate the impact of efforts.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, sales, customer relations, or a combination thereof.
Strong understanding of Louisiana's cannabis industry and regulations is preferred.
Sales experience preferred. Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
Proficient in social media platforms, event planning tools, and CRM systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with flexibility for travel and non-standard hours.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
