Job description
We are seeking a passionate Sales, Artistry & Education Account Coordinator based in the Charlotte metropolitan area that is passionate about the clean color category and safe, performance driven ingredients. They will be an example and advocate of the ILIA lifestyle and a champion of our in-store presence and client experience. Strong communication skills are critical for this candidate as it will enable them to educate the store teams on our unique point of difference. This position will have a significant impact on our retail sales performance and overall ranking. The Account Coordinator will report to the Regional Sales Manager, Central.
This is an on-site Field Sales role and is open to candidates based in the Charlotte, NC metropolitan area.
Responsibilities:
Train retail store teams on product attributes, ingredients, and application technique; lead by example by displaying ILIA’s core values
Act as a liaison between ILIA and our retail partners, namely in-store and regional leadership
Build & develop a strong, results-driven freelance artistry team (on average the coordinator will manage 4-8 freelancers across the market)
Analyze & maintain regional sales reports
Maintain clear communication with Account Executive and accounts
Calculate and achieve seasonal and monthly goals for the territory by store
Understand retailer specific cultures and modify approach to achieve success
In conjunction with the Account Executive, this role will develop event activation programs to increase brand presence in critical doors and ensure proper execution
Drive business in region through creativity, education, and field strategy
Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners resulting in increased understanding of the business and category
Leverage your negotiation skills to secure opportunities to increase brand awareness and visibility in region
Maintain a consistent calendar of visiting stores on peak days and working alongside retail employees
Upholding the visual standards of ILIA on tester units and gondolas.
Job requirements
1-3 years’ cosmetic sales experience as a brand ambassador or account coordinator
Excellent organization and communication skills; written, verbal and presentation
Beginner proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel; Power BI a plus
Ability to work a flexible work schedule – weekends & holidays required
Ability to speak to a group, inspire and motivate teams with previous experience managing & developing a freelance team
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive & effective business partnerships
Proactive, self-motivated individual with high level of energy and motivation
Experience working in a national beauty retailer environment
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
