What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Spanish Interpreter position at iLingo Interpreting?
We are currently looking for interpreters to facilitate clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
Assignments are offered as opportunities arise in your local area, and interpreters have the flexibility to accept or decline jobs based on their availability, as all assignments are scheduled on a case-by-case basis.
Most assignments involve medical appointments and workers' compensation cases, typically scheduled Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. If you do not have availability during these days and hours or already work full-time, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying.
For assignments located 16 miles or more from your home, we offer a mileage reimbursement of $0.70 per mile round trip. Parking and toll fees are also reimbursed with valid paid receipts.
Payments are processed within 30 days of invoice submission, with the option to receive compensation via mailed check or direct deposit. Please note that we enforce a 24-business-hour cancellation policy.
To qualify, you must have an Employer Identification Number (EIN) and provide it on your W9 form. We do not accept Social Security Numbers, and this requirement is non-negotiable.
