Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and views.
- Ensure database integrity, security, and availability.
- Work closely with developers and analysts to design and implement data solutions.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and query tuning.
- Develop stored procedures for efficient database operations and business logic implementation.
- Create, modify, and debug complex stored procedures to handle data processing efficiently.
- Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for database structures, processes, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams for database maintenance and backups.
- Strong experience in SQL programming, stored procedures, and database design.
- Proficiency in RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Extensive experience with stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Experience with query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with database security and access control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is a plus.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certification in SQL Server, Oracle, or related database technologies.
