Searching for a Piping Designer for our growing Lisle, IL team! Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to lead field walk-downs and evaluations of piping systems, design equipment layouts, and develop piping work packages with Plant 3D.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Lead field evaluation and measurement / survey coordination of piping systems.
- Equipment layouts and piping system design.
- Design piping plans & elevations and 2D or 3D piping isometric & spool drawings.
- Interpret and apply client and industry standards and specifications.
- Quality Control of drawings produced by others.
- Coordinate with other disciplines.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Drive to develop business applications for emerging technologies.
- Lead in developing piping specialty item specification criteria.
- Mentoring less experienced designers.
