Senior Structural Engineer
Licensed senior structural engineer with 15 years of experience. Great analytical and mathematical skills and can perform structural calculations independently with strong attention to detail. Adept at working with steel, concrete, precast concrete, and wood structural systems. Confident working in both new construction and in evaluating existing structures. Solid grasp of structural system / component costs and are able to accurately develop project budgets and assess the impact of proposed structural systems / components. Equally solid grasp of building codes related to structure including live, snow, wind, and seismic loads. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently. A strong working knowledge of building structural systems and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required. Experience working on commercial projects and background in a similar A / E firm is preferred
