Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements to support healthcare projects. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, development teams, and subject matter experts to enhance business processes and deliver innovative solutions.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field.
· 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the healthcare domain.
· Good understanding of healthcare workflows, EHR/EMR systems, and industry standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10).
· Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
· Proficiency in creating business process documentation, workflows, and user stories.
· Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
· Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
· Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent)
· Experience with healthcare payer or provider systems
· Knowledge of claims processing, patient management, and population healthcare
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
