Our restaurant:
Our team is hard at work opening a new restaurant in Greenpoint, Brooklyn that will launch this autumn. Led by partners Mads Refslund (co-founder of Noma) and Will Douillet (The Alinea Group), we are looking for driven individuals with a keen sense for hospitality to join a world-class team with a shared goal to interrogate what ambitious dining in New York City should be. Set in an open kitchen dominated by a custom wood-fired grill, our goal is to work together to shape a natural and refined way to engage with what we eat, how we serve, and how we fit into the larger community that surrounds us. We want to create an experience that nourishes and surprises our guests, and challenges our team.
With a menu shaped by experiences around the world, we will draw upon shared culture to envision an ingredient-focused approach rooted in our place and moment in time. With the most carefully sourced ingredients from the Northeast, our menu will showcase innovative and precise culinary standards, while having fun with our guests and each other. Not taking ourselves too seriously, we want to provide a memorable experience that is playful, welcoming, and engaging.
Our mission:
In order to foster more equity in compensation, our workflow will be flexible and unique: cooks will rotate various culinary roles throughout the month which will also be integrated with the dining experience. You can continue to hone your skills as a chef while learning the art of hospitality from industry leaders. Centering a healthier atmosphere for our employees, we will operate as one team driven by a common goal: an all-hands approach towards building our own vision of hospitality.
