Job Summary:
The Corporate Partnerships Seasonal Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for the corporate partnership sales and activation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, collect, process and track information related to various assignments and projects.
- Create reports and presentations under direction of management.
- Create, edit and file correspondence to include but not limited to: presentations, meeting minutes and memos.
- Copy, collate and distribute documents.
- Receive and process all concert ticket requests.
- Manage departmental season and suite tickets. Manage distribution of tickets to clients.
- Manage RSVP’s for departmental events.
- Brainstorm, order and distribute client gifts.
- Coordinate meetings to include making room reservations, sending meeting requests, preparing meeting rooms, and distribute notes postmortem.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Execute any administrative functions on an as needed basis.
- Assist with managing the Detroit Tigers Sunday Kids Day and Chevy Youth Baseball programs.
- Assist with set up and tear down for Detroit Tigers non-gameday event marketing events.
- Support the ordering and installation of ballpark signage with third party vendor
- Coordinate sponsored print ads for various Detroit Tigers publications
- Assist with in-game experiences; examples include ceremonial first pitches, batting practice viewing, play catch on-field, pre-game ceremonies
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma. Associate Degree preferred.
- Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail in composing and proofing materials.
- Must be able to handle confidential information and issues effectively and without breach of confidentiality.
- Advance skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple completing tasks and demands.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience working in the sports and entertainment industry.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent visual/auditory attention.
- Exposure to high noise levels.
- Irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
