What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fan Development Seasonal Assistant position at Ilitch Sports + Entertainment?
Key Responsibilities:
- General administrative support to the Fan Development department.
- Coordination of internal communications for Fan Development department including organization of weekly staff meetings and the development and distribution of meeting notes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with Fan Development Manager to organize and execute special events aimed at broadening the team’s audience.
- Conduct thorough ticket sales, activation, and brand research of other sports and entertainment teams and leagues.
- Assist in the use of analytics to evaluate fan engagement initiatives, measure campaign effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Assist the Fan Development Manager on marketing creative tracking and requests.
- Assist with daily execution of Detroit Tigers Kids Club.
- Assist with the organization and execution of Detroit Tigers Kids Club Day.
- Coordinate with community organizations and corporate partners to identify opportunities to engage with new fan segments and enhance outreach efforts.
- Assist with other Marketing aspects as needed.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- College senior or recent graduate (within 6 months)
- Prior internship or administrative experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Professional demeanor and attitude in office setting
- Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to moderate noise level
- Frequent visual/auditory attention
- This position will require working non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings
