POSITION: COUNTER SALES REPRESENTATIVE
ILLCO, Inc is an industry leading HVAC/R wholesale Distributor which has been family owned and operated since 1929. With 8-locations covering Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, we are among the top distributors nationally for many of the product lines we represent. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop relationships with customers by accurately taking customers’ orders in person, over the phone, and electronically
- Evaluate and process warranty items handled at the counter and follow the company’s and manufacturer’s warranty policies
- Help quote customers on both stock and non-stock products
- Accurately enter sales orders and secure payments based on customer’s account type
- Answer customer questions quickly and professionally
- Support the outside sales team when necessary
- Coordinate job-site delivery times with warehouse and delivery drivers
- Function as a team-player and assist with day-to-day branch operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of HVACR products is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with being a team player
- Must be flexible with changes in work schedule and be willing to work overtime
- Must be able to attend occasional company provided education classes which are often conducted after work hours
- Must be able to handle lifting a minimum of 50lbs without assistance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
