As a Vice President of Property Management, you will oversee department operations, drive team performance, ensure service excellence, and contribute to strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the property management team and participate in senior management discussions
- Develop and implement operational strategies and performance indicators
- Shape departmental structure and staffing to meet evolving business demands
- Partner with HR on talent acquisition, coaching, and performance assessment
- Support Property Supervisors in vendor coordination, budget analysis, and tenant engagement
- Review and approve annual property budgets and significant disbursements
- Monitor compliance with lease terms, property regulations, and company policies
- Maintain key client relationships and lead communication on escalated matters
- Oversee onboarding of new properties and transitions in coordination with other departments
- Support marketing efforts for service presentations and new business opportunities
- Foster collaboration, professional growth, and team culture across the department
Required Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of commercial property management experience
- California Real Estate License required
- Prior experience managing multi-site teams and operational functions
- Strong understanding of NNN leases, property regulations, and financial reporting
- Skilleted in coaching, performance management, and team leadership
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
