Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen MIP Packaging Technician to join our team at Illicit Gardens. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging and preparing cannabis products in compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate packaging machinery and equipment to package cannabis products.
Assemble packaging components and ensure proper labeling of packages.
Inspect finished packaged products for quality and compliance.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient workspace.
Secure palletized load shipments using shrink wrap or protective strapping.
Complete logs and documentation related to packaging tasks and inventory.
Install product guides, funnels, stops, and other adjustable parts to aid packaging.
Collaborate with the kitchen and MIP teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with METRC, Counterpoint, and Google Sheets.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; GED accepted.
Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing is preferred.
Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
