Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Kitchen MIP Packaging Technician to join our team. This role is essential in the production process, ensuring that all products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with state regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintaining quality control and contributing to the seamless operation of our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain packaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and cleanliness.
Accurately package and label products (e.g., edibles, tinctures, oils) in accordance with state compliance requirements.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure packaging meets company standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace, adhering to sanitation and safety protocols.
Assist in tracking inventory and maintaining detailed records of packaged products.
Collaborate with the kitchen and production teams to meet packaging and production deadlines.
Stay updated on New Jersey cannabis regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a production, packaging, or food industry setting is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Knowledge of cannabis-infused product manufacturing and packaging processes is a plus.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
