What We're Looking For:
Hamilton INH is seeking a full-time, mid-level experienced Maintenance Technician that will take pride in making our apartment community a great place to live!
Job Description: (Including but not limited to)
When joining our team, you will play an important role by owning the following tasks:
- Miscellaneous Maintenance & Carpentry
- Grounds upkeep and snow removal
- Interior painting
- Plumbing
- Janitorial to keep our community looking impeccable
- Cleaning/maintaining common areas
- Responding to work orders in a timely manner
- Communicating professionally with residents when fulfilling maintenance requests
- Working as a team to maintain our communities to the highest standard
- Attending and engaging in weekly meetings to discuss upcoming move-ins, move-outs, and overall team expectations
- Working closely with the housekeeping team to ensure apartments are ready for all move-ins
- All other duties required to create a great living environment for our residents.
Who We Are Looking For (Ideal Candidate):
- Dry walling including painting and carpentry
- Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
- Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
- Time Management skills
- A valid Driver's License is Required
Preferred but not required:
- 2 years in multi-family housing preferred
- HVAC certification strongly preferred
- EPA certification strongly preferred
- Boilers special is strongly preferred
Working Conditions:
- This position will cover our properties in Owatonna and Faribault.
- Hourly and expected to work 40 hours a week.
- The schedule is Monday-Friday with a rotating on-call schedule.
