Responsibilities:
- Install and service burglar alarms, fire alarms, camera systems, access control and intercom
- Provide excellent customer service and support.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality installations and service.
Requirements:
-Must possess State of Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or have proper back ground to obtain PERC card.
-Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication formats to subscribers and office staff.
-Ability and willingness to adhere to all Illinois Alarm installation and employment policies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the low voltage industry.
- Proven expertise in installing and servicing burglar alarms, fire alarms, and camera systems.
- Ability to use a computer and familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
-Attention to detail and time management skills.
-Ability to read blueprints.
-Knowledge of National Electrical Code, NFPA 72 & 101, International Building Code or the ability to learn.
-Ability to work on your own with minimum direction / supervision.
-Familiarity with a Volt O Meter.
-Ability to drive-in all-weather conditions.
-Ability to lift packages and equipment boxes from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs. if necessary.
-Ability to perform On Call Service (after hours, weekends, holidays on request).
- NICET Level 1 certification preferred; if not certified, must be able to obtain NICET Level 1 within 18 months of hire.
