Pay: $15.00/hrÂ

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing, organizing, and maintaining compliance-related documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
- Documenting quality assurance projects.
- General office duties including converting our paper files into digital files.
- Communicate with patients and families regarding feedback of services.
- Gain practical experience in a professional environment.
- Develop skills relevant to your field of study.
- Network with professionals and other interns.
- Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced team members.
- Manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires the ability to distinguish and transcribe letters and numbers without transposition.
- Requires the use of office equipment such as computer, scanner, telephone, copier, printer, fax machine. Ability to work on a desktop computer for extended periods of time.
- May require working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
- Work is performed in a medical office. There may be some interaction with Illinois CancerCare staff and physicians, as well as contact with non-Illinois CancerCare individuals.
- The employee has limited exposure to toxic substance and is expected to be familiar with the dangers and proper handling of such.
- The employee may be exposed to communicable diseases and other conditions common to the clinical environment.
- Safety policies and good health practices are to be understood and observed.
- High school or college student.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
