Responsibilities :
1. Financial Strategy and Planning :
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and stakeholders. 2. Financial Reporting and Analysis :
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analysis of financial performance. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making. 3. Risk Management and Compliance :
Develop and implement effective risk management policies and procedures. Monitor and evaluate financial risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. 4. Investor Relations :
Collaborate with the investor relations team to provide accurate and timely financial information to investors and stakeholders. Participate in investor meetings and presentations, addressing financial inquiries and providing insights on financial performance. 5. Team Management :
Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring. Foster a high-performance culture, encouraging professional development and growth within the team. Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 15 years of relevant finance experience, with a focus on real estate investment trusts (REITs) and experience working with developers. Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Previous experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
