Summary:

Consult with credit unions on their day-to-day operations, services, programs, policies, training and planning. Qualify credit unions for future products and services of the ICU System and Affiliates through research and financial analysis to ensure the credit union's ongoing success. Serve as ICU System representative within the chapter structure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Furnish guidance and resources to assigned credit unions while advising on current/changing trends in credit union operations, services, and programs.

•Analyze the credit unions application of its products and services for recommendations on the development and maintenance of policies and procedures as well as functional costs/income analysis.

•Stay current on legislative changes, consumer finance trends and credit union operating ratios while communicating relevant information to assigned credit unions.

•Prepare and facilitate customized planning sessions to assist in forming their strategic future.

•Conduct board of director's individualized training to enhance knowledge of duties and responsibilities.

•Serve as liaison to assigned chapters while coordinating and advising chapter officials of their respective duties and responsibilities.

•Assist with enhancements to ICU System's products and services including System sponsored education sessions, education programs, and consulting services.

•Work jointly with Envisant management in the assessment of customers' needs and marketing to explain and demonstrate affiliated products and services to credit unions.

•Establish and maintain a rapport with credit union regulatory agencies and share insurance providers.

•Direct and coordinate the credit union chartering process with interested organizations and groups.

•Serve as a League liaison to identify and cultivate partner opportunities that benefit credit unions, members and communities.

Preferred Education and Experience:

•Bachelor of Science degree helpful, but not required
•Five years to eight years of similar or related experience

Physical Requirements:

•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
•Regional travel within Illinois is required.

Salary : $77,000 - $86,000
