Illinois Dermatology Institute is seeking an experienced Patient Representative for our Chicago Loop office. This is a hands-on position and requires a highly self-directed, proven problem-solver with excellent leadership experience and great communication skills.
The successful candidate will be strong, positive, forward thinking, and innovative with the drive to lead continuous improvement strategies to the highest standards of productivity and patient service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Description includes but is not limited to the items below:
Scheduling for multiple locations
Handle inbound and outbound multi-line customer care calls.
Review and update patient demographics and insurance
Insurance verification and referral coordination
Make outbound recalls to former patients to re-establish patient care.
Prior Authorization
Medical Record Requests
Route calls to the appropriate department
Accurate documentation in patient's EM.
Process and/or distribute faxes

Dermatology or Plastics experience preferred
